Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
